CUCC 2025 – HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE OPENING DAY IN VENICE
The opening day of the 18th CIMIC Unit Commanders’ Conference (CUCC), held in Venice from 4 to 6 June 2025, brought together over 100 participants from 21 countries.
Keynote speakers included Col. Piero Furlan (MNCG), BGen. Editson ZARKA (SHAPE J9), and LTG Lorenzo D’Addario (HQ NRDC-ITA), who intervened via VTC.
Topics such as civil preparedness, hybrid threats, and the interoperability of CIMIC structures were at the heart of the discussions.
MNCG once again confirms its role as a strategic enabler for NATO operations.
