UN-CMCOORD TRAINING COURSE IN JESOLO (MAY 3 TO MAY 8, 2026): APPLICATIONS OPEN
In line with its commitment to strengthening civil-military cooperation in support of humanitarian action, the Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG), in cooperation with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) – Civil-MilitaryCoordination Service (CMCS), supports the upcoming UN Humanitarian Civil-Military Coordination (UN-CMCoord) Training Course in Jesolo, Italy, from May 3 to May 8, 2026.
The residential course will bring together 24 participants from across the humanitarian and civil-military coordination community, including staff from UN entities, Member States (including national and international military personnel), NGOs, and surge mechanisms such as UNDAC and INSARAG.
The training is designed to reinforce practical competencies in:
applying UN-CMCoord principles and guidance;
analysing operational civil-military coordination environments;
enabling humanitarian access and contributing to protection outcomes.
As host partner, MNCG will provide the venue, accommodation, and board throughout the course.
Participants are expected to cover their own travel, visa, and related expenses.
